Marisa Giannasi (Mrs Robinson)
Proudly of Tuscan descent but originally hailing from Glasgow, Marisa was educated at the cities prestigious Mackintosh School of Architecture (for whom she also recently conceived and designed the first bespoke furniture since Charles Rennie Mackintosh)
For the past ten years she has combined architectural practice and professional design with her love of communication and education; lecturing in interior architecture and graphic design as well as co-writing the S.Q.A's new architecture award. She also (gleefully) acts as a mentor to the creative industries, both in the UK and internationally.
Fostering entrepreneurship and creativity amongst emerging businesses is a passion. As is her mischievous collie dog, Ash.
Marisa is the friendliest person you will meet today.
Callum Robinson (Mr Robinson)
Callum’s earliest influence was his father; designer, woodcarver, builder and master cabinetmaker David Robinson. Since he was old enough to wield a dustpan, push a barrow or sand a table-top, he was at his father's side, absorbing a lifetime’s worth of craft skills, uncompromising standards and lateral thinking...as well as a very matter of fact attitude towards splinters.
This very organic apprenticeship naturally translated into a career in creating remarkable objects; with over 10 years in the family business leading to stints in several international workshops and to creating his own exhibition works, before establishing Method Studio with Marisa in 2009.
Meticulous, inventive and clinical in detail, he's probably had too much coffee today.
